About us 

Hi, I'm Jo, owner of Your Pet Care Services. I live in Colchester, Essex with my husband, two children, our gorgeous cat, Jake and our rescue dog, Sheba.
I've always had pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and cats. While never being able to commit full time to owning a dog, I had plenty of practice looking after friends and family's dogs, until we got Sheba.
Being such a huge animal lover, I decided to set up Your Pet Care Services, Colchester. So many of us lead busy lives and, as much as we want to, can't always be home for our pets. As much as we love them.
Coupled with the fact that I loved the idea of spending all day with animals - offering services taking care of your pets seemed the perfect solution for everyone.

We know how important it is to trust the person left to take care of your pet (and home). With this in mind, we take the time to get to know both you, the owner as well as your pet. We'll come to your home to meet you, and get to know you and your pets routine, as well as their likes and dislikes. 
We want you to feel 100% confident your pet will be cared for as well by us, as it is by you.
For added peace of mind, we always ensure we have a contact number for you, your pets vet and a designated friend or family member you have chosen to make important decisions if we are unable to make contact with you.

 How do we work?
Once we have visited you and discussed how we can help, we will email you a quote. If you would like to go ahead with the booking, we then ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% to be paid. If a booking is made within a week, we would require full payment at the time of booking. Full payment is required prior to us caring for your pet. 
For ongoing bookings, we will invoice monthly.
Cancellations: If a booking is cancelled more than 28 days in advance, a full refund will be issued, less the deposit. If cancelled within 7 days we will issue a 50% refund as we may not be able to place another job last minute.
We ask all customers to read and sign our Terms and Conditions before confirming a booking.
